松西村在梧塘镇东北部，东侧与松东村相接，西侧靠着霞楼村的东宫自然村；南面隔沟与梧梓村相望，北面则是松西山。村名的由来是它在松树林的西侧。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年时，此地为泗坪保。1950年改泗坪乡，1954年改属松峰乡，1957年归松坂乡。1958年从松坂乡分出，设松西大队。1984年12月设梧塘乡松西村委会，1985年3月起称梧塘镇松西村委会，2002年以后，它属涵江区梧塘镇。[1]
教育与荣誉[edit]
村里重视教育，近年先后投入近百万元改造松西小学，校内设有教学楼和教师宿舍。[2]
2021年11月，松西村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
