历史沿革[edit]
1950年时，这里是东福乡所在。1957年划入梧塘乡，称东福大队，次年改属梧塘公社。1984年12月，它成为梧塘乡下的东福村委会；1985年又改称梧塘镇东福居委会。2002年以后，本地归莆田市涵江区梧塘镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
东福社区于2022年获命名「2022年福建省卫生社区」，命名单位为福建省爱国卫生运动委员会，时间是当年12月。[1]
