太湖村隶属于福建省莆田市城厢区灵川镇，是镇内的一个行政村。1961年起，此地设太湖大队，后改为村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后，此地属第五区太湖乡，其后依次划入第十五区、第十九区与第十八区，1955年属灵川区。1961年划归青山公社，设太湖大队，1965年回归灵川公社太湖大队。[1]

1984年10月，原大队改设村委会，归灵川乡辖；1988年10月，改由莆田县灵川镇管辖；2002年2月，再划入莆田市城厢区灵川镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，太湖村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
