村子原为曾姓村民居住，村名由此而来。[2]
沿革[edit]
清代归民安里西莲塘保管辖；民国时划在民石乡曾厝保内；1950年归第六区湖岗乡，1955年改隶马巷区。1961年析置曾厝大队，1984年改为内厝乡曾厝村委会，2003年划归翔安区。[3]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名曾厝村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
