后村社区是福建省厦门市翔安区金海街道下辖的社区，位于街道东南部，滨海。地名源于土地肥沃、农业发达、被称作“后仓”（粮仓）的旧称，后谐音写作后村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代后村属翔风里后仓保，民国时仍称后仓保，归振南乡。1950年设后村乡，隶第五区，1955年改属洪钟区。[1]

1959年改设海山大队，归新店公社；1961年划入前线公社，1964年复归新店公社。1980年改称后村大队，1984年成立村委会，1987年随乡改镇。[1][2]

名人与遗迹[edit]

后村是明代靖江府长史郭齐登与文举人郭骏声的故里。[1]

后村属革命老区，村中有“抢布”旧址，列为革命遗址。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，「福建省爱国卫生运动委员会」授予后村社区「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]
