澳头社区是福建省厦门市翔安区金海街道下辖的社区，位于街道东南沿海突出的地方，面向金门与厦门两岛，濒临海湾。村名因海湾弯曲、可供船只停泊而得，古代是渔村与航运的口岸。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

澳头在清代隶属翔风里，民国时期以澳头保为单位归振南乡。新中国成立后的1950年设澳头乡，隶第五区。[1]

1955年改属洪钟区，1959年起归新店公社澳头大队。1984年成立村委会，1987年随新店乡改镇。2021年起，澳头归金海街道管辖。[1][2][5]

道光元年（1821年）澳头的一艘木帆船自厦门港出发，直抵新加坡，据报道为中国第一艘直达新加坡的大帆船，此后澳头人陆续下南洋，村子成为闽南较早的侨乡之一。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村子地势险要，江宽水深，自古为战时兵家必争之地。村庄形状如伸入海中的大龟，故又称“鳌头”。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村南滨海的澳头古渡，始建于宋代，明清时期为帆船队出海贸易的渡口。[3]

村内的广应宫俗称澳头妈祖宫，供奉妈祖，一说建于明代天启年间。[3]

村中的“天旌节孝”石牌坊立于1881年（清光绪七年），与村民南北船队在北方的贸易有关。[3]

清代进士苏廷玉的进士第为三进双护古大厝，建有30多间房。海边两块巨石上留有苏廷玉题写的“鳌石”“超旷”摩崖石刻，题写时间为道光二十三年（1843年）。[2][3][4]

著名人物[edit]

苏廷玉（1783年－1852年），字韫山，清代进士，曾署四川总督，与抗英名将陈化成为好友。[3][4]

明代有蒋孟育，为万历年间进士，曾任吏部左侍郎；蒋芳镛于1607年取得会试第一，此后任湖广按察使副使。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2020年11月，澳头入选福建省金牌旅游村名单；2022年11月，又被确定为全国乡村旅游重点村（第四批）。此外，村子还获得福建省三星级休闲集镇的称号，并为「福建省乡村振兴示范村创建单位」。[1][5]
