上厝村是五显镇西南部的行政村，村委会驻上厝。旧时上厝、潘厝与马塘合称「三乡」，上厝居北，地势较高，村名因此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代村地属长兴里荷炉保。民国时（1943年）归长兴乡上厝保管辖，1950年划入明溪乡。1959年，在布塘公社下设三明大队。[1][2]
1984年，此地改为五显乡上厝村委会；1991年五显乡改镇后，沿用此名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年2月，上厝村成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。2025年11月，上厝村获认定，为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
