地名由来[edit]
村名源于1950年设立的新霞乡。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清以前属同禾里五都的后埔仔保。1943年为同禾乡新埔保，1950年设新霞乡。1959年改称新霞大队，1984年起为新霞村委会。[1]
