地名由来[edit]
村东有一条江叫瑶江，它位于上游，村名由此而来。[1]
文化遗存[edit]
大元殿位于瑶头村中，建于元代，为县级文物保护单位。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代这里归从顺里管辖，属瑶头保；民国时期改由瑶岗乡统辖。[1]
1950年设瑶头乡，隶第七区；1956年并入惠阳乡，隶策槽区；1959年取名友谊大队，归策槽公社；1984年改称瑶头村委会，归西柯乡。[1]
大同镇的管辖在1994年把此地纳入，此后2000年大同镇拆分，瑶头改隶祥平街道；2022年祥平街道析出的部分村居组成祥和街道，瑶头随之划入。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
阿里研究院在2020年9月公布的淘宝村名单中有瑶头村。[1]
2021年10月，由南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布的名单，把瑶头村列入2021年淘宝村。[1]
2022年10月，「2022年淘宝村」名单发布，瑶头村再次上榜。[1]
