历史沿革[edit]
清末这里属仁德里十一都的英村保。民国时先后属英村乡、集美乡，1950年代初归第二区、第三区及后溪区管辖，1956年改属灌口区侨英乡。1958年10月，英村设为郊区后溪公社的英村大队。[2]
1961年10月英村曾划入侨英公社，1964年5月又回到后溪公社。1984年10月，它改为后溪乡的英村村委会（1991年随乡改镇），1987年划入集美区，2006年3月改为英村社区。[2]
经济[edit]
2020年9月，阿里研究院公布的淘宝村名单中有英村社区；2021年10月，阿里研究院与南京大学空间规划研究中心联合发布的名单中，英村社区也在列；2022年10月再次上榜。[1]
