金海社区是福建省厦门市湖里区金山街道下辖的社区，位于厦门岛东北部，处在五缘湾南岸一片，面积约1.2平方千米，是一个以商务、运动休闲和生态居住为特点的纯社区。[2]

辖区内住宅小区四个（国贸蓝海、五缘公寓、友达光电、新景缘），共有1888套住房；另有写字楼10幢，企业300多家。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初，这一带分属北山保坂美社和下边社。[1]

2010年12月17日，五通社区析出马卢奇路以北、环岛东路以西的五缘东一里、五缘东二里，设立金海社区。社区概况则记为2012年8月成立。[3][2]

人口民族[edit]

辖区居住人口约3333人，另有用工人数近6000人。[2]

文化[edit]

附近有五缘湾湿地公园和五通灯塔公园，并靠近环岛路。社区曾获「2012-2014年度省示范科普示范社区」称号，并获「厦门市交通文明示范社区」称号。[2]
