虎溪社区是福建省厦门市思明区开元街道下辖的社区，因虎溪岩而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属吴厝保与吴豪保。1945年10月划入厦南区靖东保与禾山区文双保，1950年4月隶属靖东街公所。1954年靖东与深田合组为公园街政委员会，次年改设街道办事处，辖靖山、虎园、园南三个居委会。[3]

1958年10月划为公园公社的靖山、虎园、园南三个分社；1966年8月，三地改属红星公社，分别称新华、红岩、卫东。1979年8月，这里改隶公园街道，此时的居委会为虎园、靖山、园南三个。[3]

1997年8月，虎园分出虎溪居委会。2001年虎溪由虎园、靖山合并而成，园南居委会与之并存；2003年5月园南并入，虎溪社区就此形成。[3]
