东林村位于福清市上迳镇。村名沿用旧时的东林境之名，元朝时已有此地名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清末归渔溪镇辖，民国时编为甲，隶属上迳乡。新中国成立后，村子先在第五区上迳乡，后于1958年归渔溪公社上迳大队。1961年从中分出，单独设立东林大队，划归上迳公社；1984年改大队为东林村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，东林村被福建省爱卫办确定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
