坑边村是福清市三山镇下辖的行政村[1]。

地名由来[edit]

清康熙年间，翁氏兄弟二人自港头村迁至此地。因二人一出正室、一出偏室，取琴瑟之意，兄弟分别在现今瑟江与此地立村，此地因靠坑而得名坑边[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

旧属孝义乡化南里，境内有坑边、凤山、筏林、云边四境。1950年设坑边乡，隶属第七区；1958年划入高山公社瑟江大队，1961年归三山公社[1]。

文化[edit]

2024年1月，坑边村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
