官厅村在沙埔镇境内，属镇乡结合区。相传明代七省御史方介安曾在此建家园，邻里因此称此处为官厅。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村地先属崇德乡平南里，清末归高山镇。民国年间设官厅保，之后在高山、江厦一带的乡级建制中几经更替。[1]

1965年村地归高山公社东风大队。1981年由东风大队分出，单独建立官厅大队。1984年大队改为村委会，隶沙埔乡；1992年随乡改镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，村庄被福建省农业农村厅列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；同年12月，又被定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
