后安村隶属福清市高山镇，村名取忠厚安乐之意。[1]

村名取忠厚安乐之意，后来因谐音定为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，大队改为村委会，属高山镇。1961年，此地成立后安大队；1958年，它归高山公社薛港大队。[1]

旧属平南里五十九都，境内有官塘边境。1943年归厚安保；1950年归第四区厚安乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，省爱卫办将本村列为「福建省卫生村」。2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2022年12月，被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
