白玉村是港头镇的镇区所在地，渔平高速与大真线之间的互通道路穿村而过。村子曾名白布，后改为白墓，1995年定为白玉村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子原名白布，位于港头镇东部。解放前，因当地贫困，有人以墓地相称，「墓」与「布」读音相近，村名便写作白墓；1995年改为白玉村。[1]

经济与交通[edit]

白玉村是镇区的经济、文化和金融中心，渔平高速与大真线之间的互通道路东西向贯穿全村，交通便利。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1985年4月成立白玉村委会，由五个村民小组组成。1995年改称白玉村。[1]
