林厝村在江镜镇西部，下辖7个自然村。[1]村名因林姓聚居而来。[2]全村有1552户、6580人，其中约1000人常年在国外经商或务工。[1]

沿革[edit]

民国以前此地属孝义乡临江里，内有福兴、文兴二境。1943年设林厝保，归江德乡；1950年改隶第三区林厝乡；1958年设林厝大队，隶龙田公社。1984年改设村委会，属江镜乡；1990年改属江镜镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，林厝村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
