雁湖村是江镜镇辖下的一个行政村，村落位于一片芦苇湖的南侧，村名由此而来。[1]全村有村民1647人、558户，分为13个村民小组。[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

宋代隶崇德乡井得里。1943年划入江德乡，编入芦张保3甲；1952年归第十二区芦张乡管辖。1958年转入龙田公社，设新建大队；1961年改隶江镜公社，称南芦大队。1979年更名雁湖大队，1984年9月设雁湖村委会，1990年起属江镜镇。[1]

村民与生计[edit]

村中青壮年多外出谋生，部分人已定居日本、加拿大、英国、美国与澳大利亚；留在家乡的中老年人和妇女多从事农业，主要种植花生、地瓜与蔬菜。[2]
