村名来历：村中以魏姓居多，故称北庄。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地旧属孝义乡隆仁里，境名嘉兴，元代沿用；明代归北一隅隆仁里，1910年划入龙田镇。[1]

1943年隶西林保；1950年归第三区；1986年成立北庄村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

山地700亩，土地500多亩。[1]

经济[edit]

村民靠养殖和种菜为生，也有一部分人外出务工。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，村子被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
