二村位于龙田镇镇区，属镇乡结合区的村庄，辖区面积1.68平方千米。[1]

相传宋末张若水从武职入闽，躲避乱世来到龙田，就此定居；后来镇区划分时，此处成为第二村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地宋代属崇德乡时和里，元代照旧。明代归南上隅时和里，1910年并入龙田镇。1943年编为15甲，隶龙右保，保驻在本村；1950年归第三区，1958年改隶龙田大队。[1]

1959年分出幸福大队，即二村；1983年8月村委会成立，由34个村民小组组成；1984年改大队为二村委会。[1]

村中34个村民小组；户数1530，人口5710，劳动力1982人。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月，将二村评为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
