李厝村位于福清市海口镇。宋代这里是方姓的聚居地，方姓后来断绝，明初何、李两姓迁入，村子因此以李姓命名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

李厝村宋代属感德乡仁寿里，有万安境，明代归南上隅仁寿里。清末的1910年才划入海口镇。1943年分为两甲，属杞店乡。1950年属第二区松潭乡，1953年归第十区，1956年划归海口镇的一个乡。1958年归海口公社，1962年单独成立李厝大队，1984年改为村委会，仍属海口镇。[1]
