新仓村位于宏路街道，属主城区，是街道内的一个少数民族村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清初，先民自漳州龙海屿上村南迁，因当地人多地少，又受海盗骚扰，遂在宏路落脚定居，村民多为钟姓。[1]

2008年，经福清市政府批准，村子成立为宏路街道的少数民族村，享受少数民族政策。村名“新仓”是为纪念先人留下的一份产业而取。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，新仓村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
