流水村位于君山镇镇中心区，原为流水镇政府驻地，君山镇镇政府即设于此村。[1][2]

村庄的前身是1949年设立的流水乡，1958年公社化时成为流水大队。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初年此地归坑北区管辖。新中国成立后设流水乡，几经划转，1956年3月并入中楼区。[1]

公社时期这里是流水公社下的流水大队，1984年才改设村委会。2021年流水镇撤销，其管辖地改归君山镇。[1]
