双桂村位于永泰县赤锡乡境内，村名取自村前两座山的形状。[1]

村子以葡萄为主导产业，「状元葡萄」是县政府网站列出的本乡特色农产品之一。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1915年至1935年间，此地归中区管辖；清代则属中和乡龙津里二十五都。[1]

1958年，双桂归梧桐公社的赤锡管理区，设双桂生产大队；1961年赤锡人民公社设立，村仍称双桂生产大队。[1]

2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将村子列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1] 2025年5月，村子被认定为「福州市2025年市级“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为葡萄。[1]

文化[edit]

村名的来历：村前两座山形如两个鸡髻，「髻」与当地方言的「桂」读音相近，村名因此而来。[1]
