大洋镇位于福建省福州市永泰县西北部，是永泰西山片的中心集镇，辖18个行政村。[1][3]

县政府网站所载全镇面积约109平方公里，森林覆盖率为65.4%，镇域被称为「国家级生态乡镇」。[1][3] 镇内的高盖山风景区位于境内，山上的名山室（全国重点文物保护单位）与麟阳村的麟瑞阁（省级文物保护单位）是较突出的人文景观。[4][5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这一带属中和乡高盖里，元代分属二十、二十一都，明清时仍归中和乡高盖里管辖；民国初期属西区，1936年属第五区，1938年设大洋乡。[3]

地名由来：明朝中叶开发此地时，原有三块小平原，中间隔着一片苦竹林，砍去苦竹后三洋连成一片，故称大洋。[3] 维基百科的说法与此相近，认为辖区内三块相连的小平原是得名的原因。[2]

1958年组建大洋人民公社。1981年，因莆田县也有大洋公社，此地改名樟洋公社；1984年改置樟洋乡，1992年改为樟洋镇。[2][3]

2004年11月，福建省人民政府批准樟洋镇更名为大洋镇。[2][3]

自然与经济[edit]

县政府网站的概况页载，全镇面积109平方公里，耕地2.18万亩，林地12.3万亩，户籍人口3.3万人，常住人口约1.5万人；该页未注明统计年份。[1] 维基百科所载面积为104.79平方千米，其2019年的户籍与常住人口数字与县网所载不同。[2]

镇域以种业为主导产业。2023年12月，大洋镇被认定为「福州市2023年市级农业产业强镇」，主导产业为种子。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

名山室位于高盖山上，地在棋杆村一带。[4][5]

名山室始建于唐文德元年，即888年，初称高盖名山院；民国十五年（1926年）重修。2006年5月25日，国务院公布其为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[5]

麟阳村的麟瑞阁为六角形五层木构楼阁，明万历年间始建，清光绪年间重建。2020年11月19日，它被列为第十批省级文物保护单位，公布机关为福建省人民政府。[6]

宵洋村的余氏宗祠始建于明宣德年间（1426—1435年），为余潜士的祖祠，列为省级文物保护单位。[3][7]

大展村卞湖自然村的洋尾寨，是闽中支队第4与第6中队及大洋游击队的驻地旧址，寨分新、旧两部分。[3][8]

土厝位于漈尾村，旧名老禄庄，大厅的八根大柱为土筑，故又名土厝。该建筑于2007年4月入选「第六批县级文物保护单位」。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2014年6月，环境保护部授予大洋镇「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。福建省爱卫办在2020年12月把大洋镇命名为「福建省卫生乡镇」。[3]
