长庆镇位于福州市永泰县西北部，镇政府驻长庆村，距县城65公里。东与东洋乡相连，南接嵩口镇，北界闽清县上莲乡，西同尤溪县中仙乡毗邻。镇名出自明代魏氏先人迁居此地、开荒建村的往事。1992年由乡改为镇，境内林业资源丰富，有中埔寨等古建筑。[1][4][6]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名的来历，博雅地名网的说法是：此地原为林木茂密、人烟稀少之地，明代魏氏先人唐七由大田迁来定居。建村之后，人们把开荒创业的第一天定为世代纪念的日子，村名由此定为「长庆」，沿用至今。[2]

宋代此地属和平乡保德里，元代编入31、32都，明清两代仍归和平乡保德里管辖。民国初年属南区，1936年划为三区的长峰联保，次年分设莲峰乡与长庆乡，1938年又并为莲峰乡。[2]

新中国成立后，1950年归第三区，1952年改称第八区。1958年划入嵩口人民公社，称长庆管理区；1961年析出，另建长庆人民公社。1984年改设长庆乡，1992年改为长庆镇。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域总面积165平方公里。县道125线纵贯全镇，镇内林地、湿地与竹木资源较多。[1][3]

永泰县人民政府网站载，2025年末，全镇登记户籍的人口有23076人，其中常住人口为6182人。[1]

政府网站介绍，近年镇里改造竹木加工厂、建设特色农产品加工基地，推动资源变资产、资金变股金，使村集体与村民同步增收。[1]

博雅地名网列出的镇内特产有福州茉莉花茶、永泰芙蓉李、芙蓉李干、永泰绿茶、永泰柿饼和永泰山茶油。[2]

博雅地名网列出的镇内民俗项目有永泰椽板龙、永泰蛋燕和永泰虎尊拳。[2]

镇的荣誉有两项：环境保护部于2014年6月授予「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2024年1月，长庆镇被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

中埔寨在中埔村，又名八卦寨，建于清代，构造呈八卦形，寨内为木结构四合院。寨中的建筑与石作工艺集中体现了当地传统的营建风格，寨墙设有观察窗与枪眼，供古时防御之用。[2][7]

据2022年5月中国新闻网的报道，永泰庄寨中列入全国重点文物保护单位的共五处，中埔寨是其中之一。[5]
