芹洋村隶属福建省福州市永泰县清凉镇，位于镇的东部，离镇所在地9公里。村名原取勤劳之意，后改用谐音字「芹」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是为纪念始祖的勤劳，原称勤洋，后以「勤」的谐音字改为芹洋。清代此地属丰和乡待旦里十都。1958年归城关公社清凉管理区，设芹洋生产大队；1961年转入清凉人民公社。1984年为清凉乡芹洋村民委员会，1992年改设清凉镇芹洋村民委员会。[1]

2024年1月，村庄获评「2023年福建省卫生村」，同时它也是老区基点村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村域东接葛岭布边，西连小田村，南与古岸相交，北与温南蕉坑相接。耕地约1000亩，林地14227亩，其中竹林3170亩；果树以梅、李为主。[2]

村下辖东宅、芹洋里、巫洋等自然村，共13个村民生产小组，166户598人。[2]
