溪北村位于永泰县西北部，面临大樟溪北岸，距县城约30公里，距镇政府约4公里。村内居民以郑、刘、邱、俞、陈五姓为主，辖4个自然村、24个村民小组。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原作“溪口”，因位于溪水与大樟溪汇合处。1981年地名普查时，因与他处同名，改称溪北，也有位于大樟溪北岸之意。村子旧称溪口村，原属永福县。[1][2]

1984年划入梧桐乡，1989年归梧桐镇。[1]

2024年1月，村里被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

香远堂在村内上溪口，为郑氏祖屋，修建时段在1815年至1834年之间，即清嘉庆后期至道光年间。2020年11月19日，它被列为第十批福建省级文物。[1][3]

村中另有郑氏祠堂，每年农历八月初一，外迁的宗亲回村聚会祭祖。[2]

经济[edit]

村里盛产李果、青梅、橄榄、板栗。改革开放以后，村民多到上海、南京、武汉、北京等地经商办厂。[2]
