光荣村位于梧桐镇西北部，203省道穿村而过，距县城约30公里，离梧桐镇政府约5公里。村落面积12平方千米，辖6个自然村，分为16个村民小组。村名始于20世纪50年代析建光荣生产大队之时。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取“光荣”之意，始于20世纪50年代析建光荣生产大队之时。1958年划归梧桐公社梧桐管理区，1961年为梧桐人民公社光荣生产大队，1984年改设梧桐乡光荣村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，村里被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年12月，被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」；2024年6月，入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

山表自然村后山、百岩山峰之下建有仙妈宫，建于民国四年（1915年），每月农历十九日有人前来烧香。[2]

经济[edit]

村里出产油茶、板栗、青梅、柿子，设有加工点，土特产销往各地。[2]
