田溪村位于上莲乡境内，四面环山，村中有溪流穿过，村名因两岸的稻田而来[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村落四周环山，一条小溪穿村而过，溪的两岸是稻田，故称「田溪」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时为十二都田溪。民国时归双兰乡。1950年隶四区上莲乡。1958年并入上莲大队，由池园公社统辖。1961年改归上莲公社；1963年分设田溪大队；1964年再归池园公社；1980年重回上莲公社。1984年，村址改设村委会，隶上莲乡[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
