潭口村位于云龙乡，地处昙溪注入梅溪的河口一带。原称昙口，后被误写为潭口，村委会驻潭口自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时称二都潭口。民国时属第一区白台乡的台云保；1950年划归云龙乡，1956年设立高级社。1958年隶属台鼎大队，其后的隶属又随台鼎大队变动。[1]

1991年，闽清县政府批准设立村委会，直属云龙乡人民政府。[1]

2021年11月，潭口村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
