龙池村位于塔庄镇境内，村名由所辖两个自然村各取一字而来，后雅称龙池。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时称五都垅里、池头。民国时为龙峰乡龙池保，1950年隶第五区秀龙乡，1952年转入第六区。[1]

1956年办起龙池高级社；1958年先归坂东公社管辖，次年划入塔庄公社。1984年起改为龙池村委会，属塔庄乡管辖；1993年后改由塔庄镇管理。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，村子获命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
