店前村是池园镇下辖的行政村。村子早年名为登瀛村，后因芝溪一带出现店铺，村庄正对着店铺的前方，遂改名店前，据博雅地名网所载[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时，此地属十一都，原称登瀛村。民国年间设店前保，归双芝乡。1950年改设店前乡，划入第四区。1956年成立高级农业合作社；1958年组建店前大队，归池园公社；1984年7月，改组为村委会，隶属池园镇[1]。

荣誉[edit]

店前村自2024年1月起获得2023年福建省卫生村的称号，爱卫办的拟命名公示也列有此村[1][2]。
