溪边村位于碧里乡东北部，离乡政府9公里，距县城29公里，辖3个自然村[1]。村名来自村委会驻地溪边自然村[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，村子由大队改为村委会。大队于1961年由他处分出设立，1965年起归碧里公社。解放初村址划入第三区，民国时期则在第二区、第一区和鉴匹镇之间变动[3]。明清时村址属一里[3]。

经济[edit]

村民以水产养殖为主，海带、紫菜、鲍鱼的养殖是主要的收入来源[1]。

文化[edit]

2021年8月，村子被确定为罗源县「第四轮第二批（2020年）平安村（社区）」；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名其为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。
