樟溪村是洪洋乡下辖的行政村，辖2个自然村，属老区村，村中多种植樟树，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村子傍着一条溪流，原名漳溪；其后村中广植樟树，遂改称樟溪。[1]

明至清末，本村属罗平里。民国时期属五区、二区，又隶洪洋乡。1950年成立樟溪乡，归二区。1958年撤区改社，分出一个樟溪大队，隶起步公社。1961年复设区，本村属起步区的一个公社；1965年撤区并社，改归洪洋公社。“文革”期间设大队革委会，1983年恢复管委会名称，1984年起改设村委会，仍属洪洋乡。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月命名本村为「2022年福建省卫生村」。2020年6月，本村被确定为「罗源县第四轮第一批（2019年）平安村（社区）」。[1]
