后洋村是洪洋乡下辖的行政村，辖1个自然村，以水稻、甘薯和竹木种植及畜禽养殖为主，竹制品加工是村中传统的手工业。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：旧时这里有东洋、中洋、后洋三片田垄，村民最终定居在后洋一带，村名由此而来。[1]

明至清末，本村属罗平里。1950年归二区管辖，1952年另立后洋乡。1958年撤区改社，此地改称后洋大队，隶起步公社。1961年再设区，本村属起步区后洋公社；1965年撤区并社，改归洪洋公社。“文革”期间设大队革委会，1983年恢复管委会名称，1984年起改设村委会，仍属洪洋乡。[1]

经济[edit]

养殖的兔、牛、鸡、鸭、羊，肉质鲜美，深受市场欢迎。[2]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2021年8月，本村被确定为「罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）平安村（社区）」。2022年12月，本村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。2024年12月，本村被认定为「福州市2024年市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为纽荷尔脐橙；2025年11月，又被确定为「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」，同为纽荷尔脐橙。[1]
