梧桐村位于飞竹镇南部，离城关约30公里。全村辖4个自然村，是老区基点村，也是汉畲混居的行政村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自本片村落中的梧桐树。据说四百多年前，罗源城关的居民迁来此地拓基，当时附近多梧桐。[1]

民国时期分属第四、第三区，并入凤寿、飞梧等乡。解放初先归五区，此后几经调整，至1955年又归洋柄区，并设有飞竹乡。[1]

1958年撤区并社，设大队隶属飞竹公社；1961年分出另设梧桐大队；1965年仍属飞竹公社。[1]

文革期间改称大队革委会，1983年仍称大队管委会，1984年改为村委会，隶属飞竹镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村里发展毛竹、乌龙茶等生态农业，设有一家茶叶生产加工企业。[2]

文化[edit]

本村是县级党建示范村和创先争优示范村，2010年被评为市级生态村。2021年11月，本村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，2021年8月列入罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）「平安村（社区）」。[1][2]
