上宅村是福建省福州市罗源县中房镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的南面，距城关约30公里，是罗源县通往中房镇的必经之地。村中辖坑里自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子位于山丘之上，背山面溪，村落建在山坡上，因而得名。[1]

历史人文[edit]

李氏始祖约六百多年前自古田县杉洋镇迁来定居，此后村民勤劳耕作，开垦荒地，把村子建设成了新农村。[1]

据博雅地名网，明正德年间村人李太公中了举人，后任河南开封府知府，年老思乡回到故里时，据称带回一卷书画，现存于李氏祖厝内。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明至清末村地属丰上里，民国时期则分属五区、二区，并入河洋乡。1950年设上宅乡，隶属二区；1955年归中房乡。1958年撤区设社，村地立为上宅大队，划入中房公社。1961年又恢复区级建制，村地仍在中房区的中房公社之内；1965年再次撤区并社，继续隶属中房公社。1984年大队改为村委会，隶属中房乡。[1]

建筑[edit]

村中心有一座李氏宗祠，已有三百多年历史，背靠半月山，西朝莲花山。祠内布局讲究，保留着古时的七星八斗和天然虎石。[2]

经济[edit]

村经济分为两大块：一是农业，以水稻、甘薯、果蔬为主，兼养本地鸡、鸭、兔、羊；二是工业，有石板材加工厂和淡水养鳗厂。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村被评为2021年福建省卫生村。2024年12月，村被认定为2024年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为香菇。[1]
