红下村是福建省福州市连江县坑园镇下辖的行政村，位于黄岐半岛西北面，处在连江可门经济开发区之内。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明万历年间，张、苏、黄、刘、陈等姓先祖陆续迁来定居。地名起初作“洪下”，后改为红厦，此后又改称红下。[1]
新中国成立后先归长坂区管辖；1958年划入坑园乡，1962年政社合并时改设红下大队。1984年，本村组建村委会，隶属坑园镇。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子陆地面积5.8平方千米，滩涂6388亩，耕地827亩；距县城26公里。[1]
人口民族[edit]
全村总人口3318人，共938户，设26个村民小组，党员87人。[1]
经济[edit]
村里经济以虾塘养殖为主，主要养殖对虾、梭子蟹、溢蛏、花蛤和牡蛎。[1]
