上周村位于丹阳镇南部，南临104国道。[1]

村内周姓居民较多，村子按地势分为上周和下周，因上周人口较多而得名。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属名闻乡安义里，1940年划归丹阳镇。1949年8月14日解放后属第五区，1955年改属丹阳区，1956年设上周大队，1978年改设村委会。[3]

经济[edit]

村里收入主要来自农业，种植食用菌、蘑菇等。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

夏氏宗祠于1998年由夏姓村民集资重建，占地500多平方米。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办在2021年11月把上周村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2024年12月，上周村被认定为「福州市2024年市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为肉燕。[1]
