春光村地处竹岐乡的边远山区，与永泰县白云乡相接，离县城约30公里，下辖5个自然村。村名取自1956年成立的春光农业高级社。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年，此地组建春光农业高级社，取名“春光”。1958年划归闽侯县管辖，同年成立大队，沿用春光之名；1984年设立村民委员会。[1]
