地理环境[edit]
村子由新桥、洲洋、纲丰三个自然村组成。村中203省道横穿，南港大桥位于村东侧。[2]
人物[edit]
陈在炳，1935年出生，闽侯人，家住本村。1951年参加中国人民解放军，此后在后勤系统的营房管理岗位上逐步升任，其间在总后勤部基建营房部担任副部长，任职时间为1985年至1993年。1988年，他被授予少将军衔。[2]
教育[edit]
2012年，陈在炳牵头创建了闽侯将军希望小学。[2]
