玉田村是福建省福州市闽侯县南屿镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西部，靠近虎秀山脉。村名由玉屿与芝田两地各取一字而来。[1]

地名由来[edit]

玉屿早年曾称湖屿，与隔江相望的垱上同为环水浮洲上形成的陆地。玉屿面对翠绿的山峦，犹如碧玉，村名取其意，与芝田各取一字合为玉田。[1]

村落[edit]

村中有玉屿、新挡、官塘三个自然村，设三个村民小组。村子依山傍水，耕地、园地、林地都有分布，种植以花卉和蔬菜为主，养殖有鱼塘与生猪。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

玉田先属建田乡，后归芝田大队。1962年与芝田合为一个大队，1974年又分出，以玉田作队名，后改设玉田村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月认定玉田村为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
