历史沿革[edit]
1949年以前这里是鹤上乡的桃坑村。1958年8月起设鹤上公社的桃坑大队；1984年9月公社改回乡，此地便称桃坑村；1990年又改设桃坑村委会，沿用至今。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村名取自山峰后的仙桃盘、桃源洞等地名，其下有龙溪，水流通向桃枝湖。[1]
人口民族[edit]
全村750多户，2568人，两项数字两家一致，未注年份。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内有石磐墓，为区级文物保护单位；有欧阳氏故居，为文物点，2019年登记。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，桃坑村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[2]
