竹田村是古槐镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西南部、董奉山南麓，与燕巢山接壤，由竹田、仙山、上官、汶头四个自然村组成。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村址早先叫沙堤，因防水患而修筑堤坝，于是又称筑堤。明代尚书林廷选自号竹田，村名遂随之改为竹田。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村子旧属二难乡昆由里，元代分为六都一图与二图。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，竹田村获评2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
