松下村位于长乐最南端，处在长乐、福清、平潭三县交界处。村后的山上原多松树，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村后的山上原多松树，村庄居于山脚，故称松下。村前海湾浪涛拍岸，名为松下湾，又称松江。至明崇祯九年（1636）时，福建巡抚狄龙拨出黄金1800两，主持拓寨筑城，用来防备日寇。村中还有「王城」之称。此后，1958年划为松下大队，至1986年又改作松下村民委员会。[1]

村子地处沿海突出部，背山面海，水路交通方便。[1]

村里耕地少、人口多，大部分劳力外出经商或从事渔业捕捞与养殖。松下的海鲜是村里的特色，也带动了第三产业。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]
大王山麓的闽海战役松下抗敌遗址为县级文物保护单位（1986年公布），其1941年的经过与1943年的公墓见松下镇条目。[1][2]
