地名由来[edit]

古时村中多为桃姓居民，原名「桃厝」。后有外姓迁入，遂改称「桃源」。[1]

革命历史[edit]

1928年4月，桃源党支部成立，与玉田党支部同时建立；同年6月，福州市委在桃源支祠开办农民干部训练班。[2]

文物古迹[edit]

桃源第一支部旧址（桃源村郑氏支祠）为区级文物保护单位，2001年公布。该支祠建于清乾隆年间。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，桃源村入选福建省「2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

2021年11月，桃源村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，由福建省爱卫办认定。[1]

2023年12月，桃源村被认定为「福州市2023年市级“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为台湾水果。[1]

2024年11月，桃源村被认定为「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，同样以台湾水果为主导产业。[1]
