光辉村位于琅岐集镇中心，东面与鳌山公园相接，园内有江涛烈士陵园。[1][2]

村庄北面与红星村相邻，村落形状像一只花盆。村里侨属较多，村民旅居美国、英国、西班牙等9个国家。[1]

美丽乡村建设[edit]

2018年，村里开始建设美丽乡村；次年，又被列为福州市乡村振兴试点村。[3]

2023年，该村在福州市乡村振兴星级评定中被列为四星级村。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，光辉村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地设为鳌旗保，此后隶属闽侯县第二区。1958年分成两个生产连队，编入上岐大队。1984年定名光辉村，1995年11月归马尾区琅岐镇。[1]
