东岭村位于福州市南台岛中部，在飞凤山下，属城乡结合部，与透浦村、冯宅村、湾边村、高宅村等村相邻。[1]村名的来历是：位于飞凤山之东，山东侧有一道岭，又名山东岭，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1954年先组织起初级农业合作社，1956年转为高级社，1984年设立村委会。[1]
